Foreign Office, March 12, 1913. I HAVE received your despatch No. 38 of the 23rd January last, respecting the alleged cultivation of opium on the Burma-Tunnan frontier and smuggling of the drug into Tunnan.

The Government of India have been requested to furnish a statement of their views on the subject, which will be communicated to you in due course.
